A tool that ‘repeats,’ or as programmers say ‘iterates,’ a part of the code until some requirement is fulfilled. A lot of programs use loops, and they are an essential part of the language.

A loop is written when a process or a part of the code is repeated several times repeatedly until a requirement is fulfilled. This allows for the creation of effective programs which are flexible and scalable. In this lesson we will specifically learn about two types of loops:

  • for loops
  • while loops.
